Post Description

Het verhaal speelt zich af in Philadelphia in 1969. De Britse arts Dr. Audrey Evans wordt net aangenomen bij een wereldberoemd kinderziekenhuis. Ze vecht tegen seksisme, medische conventies en het bedrog van haar collega's om revolutionaire behandelingen te ontwikkelen en het eerste Ronald McDonald Huis voor patiëntenfamilies te kopen. Zo zal ze uiteindelijk het leven van miljoenen kinderen over de hele wereld beïnvloeden.
